Background Frozen embryo transfers (FETs) have become more common than fresh transfers over the past decade. Progesterone levels around embryo transfer day are known to impact reproductive outcomes, albeit no clear guidelines exist regarding the optimal route, dosage, or duration of luteal phase support (LPS). A circulating progesterone threshold of about 10 ng/mL is generally accepted, but varying endometrial absorption across administration routes challenges its reliability, suggesting a need for validation through alternative progesterone measurement methods.

: Until recently, oral dydrogesterone has only been established in fresh in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycles, whereas its role in luteal phase support (LPS) for frozen embryo transfer (FET) cycles remains unclear. The aim of this study is to determine whether oral dydrogesterone as LPS in FET cycles results in pregnancy rates comparable to vaginal progesterone, focusing primarily on ongoing pregnancy rates, but also on clinical pregnancy, miscarriage, and live birth rates. : The study followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses guidelines.

Tire wear microrubber particles (TWMP) are a major source of environmental contamination. Degradation of TWMP is slow and leachates contain toxic constituents including heavy metals, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and organic additives. Few studies have addressed methods to mitigate the potential ecotoxicity of TWMP leachates.

The aim of the present study was to identify the optimal LPS under six core aspects of ART success, clinical pregnancy, live birth as primary outcomes and biochemical pregnancy, miscarriage, multiple pregnancy, ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) events as secondary outcomes. Twelve databases, namely Embase (OVID), MEDLINE (R) (OVID), GlobalHealth (Archive), GlobalHealth, Health and Psychosocial Instruments, Maternity & Infant Care Database (MIDIRS), APA PsycTests, ClinicalTrials.

Background: Since its introduction, assisted reproductive technology (ART) has developed into a common clinical practice around the world; yet it still raises a lot of questions. Throughout time, many researchers have investigated its association with several obstetric incidences and its consequences on perinatal outcomes. The aim of the current meta-analysis was to estimate the correlation between ART procedures and malpresentation of the fetus in singleton pregnancies.

Aim: To describe the currently available evidence regarding the efficacy and safety of preoperative tumor marking using indocyanine green (ICG) prior to laparoscopic or robotic colorectal resections.
Methods: A systematic search for relevant studies was conducted using the following databases: Embase (OVID), MEDLINE® (OVID), APA PsycInfo (OVID), Global Health (OVID) and HMIC Health Management Information Consortium (OVID) through June 2022 reported according to PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Primary outcome was the detection rate of the tumor sites preoperatively marked with ICG.
Importance: Over the last decade, frozen embryo transfer (FET) has been increasingly used in contemporary fertility units. Despite the rapid increase in FET, there is still insufficient evidence to recommend an optimized protocol for endometrial preparation especially in patients with lower progesterone (P4) levels. Previous studies have concluded that P4 levels <10 ng/mL are associated with poorer pregnancy outcomes than those reported with high levels of circulating P4.

Among them, Bisphenol-A (BPA) is the most debated endocrine disruptor, despite being widely studied, regarding its effects on fertility. The aim of this review was to investigate the interrelation of BPA and female fertility.

The fear of viral transmission along with the short period of study made patients delay their hospital visits and doctors reassess the approach of certain acute situations. This study aimed to assess the changes in the management of patients with acute cholecystitis before and during COVID-19.

Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy is a muscular dystrophy affecting all ages, primarily people in the second decade. The disease is initially presented with face, shoulder girdle, and upper arm involvement, followed by lower extremity muscle weakness. Disease progression is usually slow, although about one-fifth of patients will require a wheelchair to accommodate mobility.

The primary aim of this review is to estimate the prevalence of ARSA both in euploid fetuses as well as in fetuses with Down Syndrome. Secondary objectives were to estimate the association of ARSA with cardiac anomalies and chromosomal defects, especially trisomy 21 and 22q11 deletion (DiGeorge Syndrome). The incidence of ARSA in normal population varies from 0.
