Primary squamous cell carcinoma of the orbit is rare, as this area does not have its own squamous epithelium. Tumors of this localization are caused either by the germination of the primary focus located on the skin of the face or in the paranasal sinuses, or by the spread of the tumor through perineural invasion. The difficulty of surgical treatment of this localization is that with standard access it is often impossible to visualize the posterior edge of the resection, which, in turn, can lead to a recurrence of the tumor process.

A series of commercial nanosized zeolites and zeolites prepared by in situ seed-induced synthesis with a ZSM-5 structure and a close silica modulus were studied to explore the influence of physicochemical characteristics on the dimethyl ether aromatization and catalyst stability. It was shown that a larger strong Brønsted acidity enhanced the total aromatics formation with an increased light arenes content (especially at elevated WHSV). At low WHSV, excess Brønsted acidity leads to the declined aromatics yield due to its high cracking ability.

The recurrence rate of head and neck cancers (HNCs) after initial treatment may reach 70%, and poor prognosis is reported in most cases. Curative options for recurrent HNCs mainly depend on the treatment history and the recurrent tumor localization. Reirradiation for HNCs is effective and has been included in most guidelines.

Serotonin antibodies (SAb) were found in the blood sera of middle-aged and elderly parkinsonian patients. The incidence of Sab in young and middle-aged healthy subjects was less, but increasing with age. Injected into the rabbit caudate nuclei, Sab suppressed the main pathogenetic mechanism of parkinsonian syndrome, the generator of pathologically enhanced excitation (GPEE) and parkinsonian symptoms induced by the MPP injection into substantia nigra.
