Herein, we design and prepare mesoporous Co-doped Cu(OH)CO malachite nanosheets as an electrocatalyst toward highly efficient nitrate reduction using a facile CO bubble-assisted coprecipitation synthesis. The electrocatalytic performance is subject to the Co/Cu ratio of this malachite.
