Case Series of Resuscitative Hysterotomy in Pregnant Trauma Patients Performed in the Emergency Department of a Level One Major Trauma Service.

Objective: To describe the demographics, injury patterns and outcomes of pregnant trauma patients following resuscitative hysterotomy performed in the emergency department.

Methods: A retrospective case series reviewing resuscitative hysterotomies performed in pregnant trauma patients in the emergency department from 1 January 1999, until 30 June 2024.

Results: Three cases of resuscitative hysterotomy were identified.
