Background: Rare genetic variation provided by whole genome sequence datasets has been relatively less explored for its contributions to human traits. Meta-analysis of sequencing data offers advantages by integrating larger sample sizes from diverse cohorts, thereby increasing the likelihood of discovering novel insights into complex traits. Furthermore, emerging methods in genome-wide rare variant association testing further improve power and interpretability.

However, the intrinsic LIP circuitry that gives rise to the flexible generation of motor responses to sensory instruction remains unclear. Using retrograde tracers, we delineate two distinct operational compartments based on different intrinsic connectivity patterns of dorsal and ventral LIP.

EGFR-targeted therapies are associated with dermatologic adverse events (AEs), which can affect quality of life (QoL). COCOON was conducted to assess prophylactic management and improve treatment experience.

While respiratory protective equipment are routine key strategies to protect healthcare workers from exposure to select respiratory pathogens, they have been demonstrated to disrupt speech intelligibility. The COVID-19 pandemic escalated the need for and utilization of respiratory protection in all healthcare settings.

The objectives of this experiment were to evaluate the effects of forage sorghum silage harvest settings, combining cut height, onboard sorghum kernel processor (KP) technology, and ensiling duration, on berry processing score (BPS) and ruminal in situ starch disappearance at 7 h (isSD7). Three harvest settings were tested: a 20-cm cut height, with and without KP (Low+KP, Low-noKP), and a 120-cm cut height with KP (High+KP). A commercial sorghum field was divided into 9 squares, with 3 squares randomly selected as blocks.
