Background: Acute appendicitis is the most common type of acute abdomen that requires surgical intervention in children. According to general pediatric textbooks, the presence of vomiting before abdominal pain is considered a classic patient history item for excluding acute appendicitis. Background: The risk factors for anemia of prematurity (AOP) among late preterm infants are unelucidated. We identified risk factors for declining hemoglobin (Hb) concentration and triggering factors for AOP treatment in infants born at 30-35 gestational weeks.
