The impaired healing of alveolar bone defects in diabetic patients has attracted considerable attention, with Mogroside V (MV) emerging as a promising candidate due to its demonstrated antioxidation, hypoglycemic, and anti-inflammatory properties in patients with diabetes mellitus. To address the limitations of oral MV administration, such as low bioavailability, rapid metabolism, and a short half-life, we developed a nanofiber membrane utilizing electrospinning technology for topical application by preparing membranes using MV, chitosan (CS), nanohydroxyapatite (HA), and poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) as raw materials to prolong the effect of MV and enhance bone regeneration in diabetic patients. The MV/HA/PVA/CS exhibited a good fiber diameter, prolonged drug release, and suitable degradation time, along with other favorable properties.

Background: Odontogenic keratocyst is one of the most common benign odontogenic neoplasms with a high recurrence rate. Its resection has the potential to lead to mandibular segmental defects. In this case report, we describe a patient with odontogenic keratocyst who underwent radical resection using a novel distraction osteogenesis (DO) method to reconstruct mandibular segmental defect.

Aim: To evaluate the psychometric properties of the Post-Stroke Depression Scale in the Sequelae Stage (PSDS-SS).

Background: The incidence of the sequelae stage Post-Stroke Depression (PSD) is high, and the best screening tools are still lacking. Under this circumstances, our research team developed the PSDS-SS by Delphi method, but its psychometric properties need to be further verified.

Background: The high incidence of post-stroke depression (PSD) during rehabilitation exerts a negative effect on the treatment and functional recovery of patients with stroke and increases the risk of mortality. It is necessary to screen PSD in the rehabilitation stage and thus provide effective intervention strategies. However, existing measurements used to assess PSD in the rehabilitation stage in patients with stroke lack specificity.

Background: Panax Notoginseng is a well-known Chinese medicinal herb which has been used in China for treatment of bone fracture for hundreds of years. However, the specific biological mechanisms of osteogenic effect of PNS are not well understood.

Methods: In this study, newborn rabbit BMSCs were isolated, and then identified by the positive expression rates of cell surface markers, including CD29, CD45 and HLA-DR, which were detected by flow cytometry(FCM).
