Background: The "cold" tumor microenvironment of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), where tumor-associated lymphatic vessels play a critical role in the transport of immune cells, is associated with a poor prognosis. However, the effect of tumor-induced lymphangiogenesis on CD8+ T cell infiltration and its role in the formation of the tumor immune microenvironment remain unclear.
Methods: We analyzed the prognostic significance of several lymphangiogenesis factors in OSCC with The Cancer Genome Atlas dataset, and confirmed the impact of fibroblast growth factor-2 (FGF-2) on prognosis in tissue specimens.
Objective: To establish and validate a droplet digital PCR (ddPCR) assay for quantifying FRS2 gene copy number in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) bladder cancer tissue samples, and to evaluate its analytical performance.
Methods: The ddPCR assay was developed using FRS2 as the target gene and RPP30 as the reference gene. Artificial plasmids, genomic DNA from urinary sediment of healthy individuals and cell lines were used as templates to assess the assay's precision, minimum reliable input DNA, and linearity.
Background: Relationship satisfaction is crucial for the well-being and longevity of romantic relationships. Although love language interventions have demonstrated positive effects on relationship satisfaction, most research has focused on Western contexts. This study investigates the impact of a Love Language Game intervention on relationship satisfaction among Chinese couples in China and Malaysia and examines the role of individualism-collectivism in determining the intervention's effectiveness.

Background: The potential effects of pretreatment pain on prognosis of tongue squamous cell carcinoma (TSCC) and the role that perineural invasion (PNI) plays in this process remains unclear.
Purpose: The purposes of this study are to estimate the prognostic value of pretreatment pain and identify whether PNI is a mediating factor in the relationship between pretreatment pain and prognosis in TSCC.
Study Design, Setting, Sample: This retrospective cohort study included TSCC patients who underwent first resections of primary lesions at the Beijing Stomatological Hospital of Capital Medical University between January 2009 and December 2019.

Background: This study aimed to assess the prognosis of T1-2N0 stage tongue cancer patients who underwent surgery for the primary lesion without elective neck dissection and to identify the risk factors for prognosis.
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed early-stage tongue cancer patients in our center. Statistical analyses were performed using SPSS and R software.

Objective: Salivary glands are frequently damaged in patients undergoing radiotherapy for head and neck cancer. Whether PANoptosis, which is characterized by pyroptosis, apoptosis, and necroptosis, occurs during radiation injury to the salivary glands and its role remain unclear.
Materials And Methods: Radiation-induced injury models of mouse submandibular gland, as well as primary acinar cells and HSG cell lines were established to determine the presence of radiation-induced PANoptosis.

Objective: This study elucidated the clinical significance, functions, and mechanism of action of spindle and kinetochore-associated complex 3 (SKA3) in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC).
Study Design: The SKA3 levels within the patients with OSCC were determined using the The cancer genome atlas (TCGA) database and clinical samples. The functions of SKA3 in OSCC cells were evaluated by cell counting Kit-8 (Beyotime Biotechnology, Haimen, China), 5-ethynyl-2'-deoxyuridine, wound healing, transwell invasion, flow cytometry, and xenograft nude mice model assays.
