The first observation of the Σ^{+}→pμ^{+}μ^{-} decay is reported with high significance using proton-proton collision data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.4 fb^{-1}, collected with the LHCb detector at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. A yield of 237±16 Σ^{+}→pμ^{+}μ^{-} decays is obtained, where the uncertainty is statistical only.

Here, the D^{**0} meson represents any of the three excited charm mesons D_{1}(2420)^{0}, D_{2}^{*}(2460)^{0}, and D_{1}^{'}(2400)^{0}. The B^{-}→D^{**0}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ} signal is measured with a significance of 3.

While rehabilitation robots and hand exoskeleton-based therapy treatments have shown great promise of improving motor function, the frequency of use and the nature of the repetitive therapeutic tasks can limit the promotion of neuroplasticity. The use of an assistive hand exoskeleton, meant to help the user perform activities of daily living (ADL), leverages the principals of neuroplasticity regarding increased frequency of use and increased specificity in doing functional tasks, to further improve neuroplasticity.

The first test of lepton flavor universality between muons and electrons using B^{+}→K^{+}π^{+}π^{-}ℓ^{+}ℓ^{-} (ℓ=e, μ) decays is presented. The measurement is performed with data from proton-proton collisions collected by the LHCb experiment at center-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb^{-1}. The ratio of branching fractions between B^{+}→K^{+}π^{+}π^{-}e^{+}e^{-} and B^{+}→K^{+}π^{+}π^{-}μ^{+}μ^{-} decays is measured in the dilepton invariant-mass-squared range 1.

We used dynamic light scattering (DLS) and DLS-based passive microrheology to monitor the evolution of the viscoelasticity during isothermal gelation. It provided easy identification of the sol-gel transition and the isothermal critical gelation time ( ) and values of viscosities of sols and shear modulus of gels.
