Background: The purpose of this study was to quantify the incidence of total knee arthroplasty (TKA) and other osteoarthritis-related procedures following surgical and conservative treatment of tibial plateau fractures (TPF). Secondary goal was to analyse the long-term clinical outcomes and identify risk factors for secondary interventions and poor outcomes.
Methods: All patients diagnosed with TPF at a single level 1 university trauma centre between January 1, 2008 and December 31, 2016 were retrospectively reviewed.
Purpose: Ruptures of the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) are often accompanied by posterolateral corner (PLC) and posteromedial corner (PMC) injuries. This study investigates the incidence and impact of PMC and PLC injuries on posterior tibial translation (PTT). It was hypothesized that PMC injuries are more common and impactful than previously reported.

Background: Patella fractures are relatively rare fractures and only little is known about the postoperative return to sports after patella fractures.
Methods: This retrospective study presents information on functional outcome after operative treatment of patella fractures as well as time until return to sports and patients' complaints after open-reduction internal-fixation (ORIF) of patella fractures.
Results: Overall, 39 patients after ORIF of patella fractures were evaluated at our Level-I trauma center with a mean follow-up of 42 months.
