Background And Aims: Real-life data regarding inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) evolution after switch from intravenous infliximab (IV-IFX) to subcutaneous infliximab (SC-IFX) is necessary. The aim of this prospective multicenter cohort study was to describe the persistence, effectiveness and tolerance of SC-IFX after switch from IV-IFX.
Methods: IBD patients in steroid-free clinical remission for at least 6 months on IV-IFX were enrolled in a prospective national French cohort when they switched to SC-IFX.
Background & Aims: Bulevirtide (BLV) 2 mg/day is EMA approved for the treatment of compensated chronic HDV infection; however, real-world data in large cohorts of patients with cirrhosis are lacking.
Methods: Consecutive HDV-infected patients with cirrhosis starting BLV 2 mg/day from September 2019 were included in a European retrospective multicenter real-world study (SAVE-D). Patient characteristics before and during BLV treatment were collected.

Background: Data on the management of Hepatitis B-Delta (HB-D) by hepatogastroenterologists (HGs) practicing in nonacademic hospitals or private practices are unknown in France.
Objective: We aimed to evaluate the knowledge and practices of HGs practicing in nonacademic settings regarding HB-D.
Methods: A Google form document was sent to those HGs from May to September 2021.
Background: The systematic use of susceptibility testing and tailored first-line treatment for Helicobacter pylori eradication has yet to be established.
Aim: To compare 14-day tailored PCR-guided triple therapy to 14-day non-Bismuth concomitant quadruple therapy for first-line Helicobacter pylori eradication.
Patients And Methods: We performed a multicenter, parallel-group, randomized noninferiority controlled trial.
Resistance in to tetracycline is rare. We describe the case of an strain with a high level of resistance to tetracycline (minimum inhibitory concentration = 12 mg/L). However, despite tetracycline resistance, bismuth quadritherapy was effective.

To conduct a time-trend analysis of resistance to antibiotics in Europe. The international prospective European Registry on Management (Hp-EuReg) collected data on all infected adult patients diagnosed with culture and antimicrobial susceptibility testing positive results that were registered at AEG-REDCap e-CRF until December 2020.

Introduction: The safety of Helicobacter pylori eradication treatments and to what extent adverse events (AEs) influence therapeutic compliance in clinical practice are hardly known. Our aim was to assess the frequency, type, intensity, and duration of AEs, and their impact on compliance, for the most frequently used treatments in the "European Registry on Helicobacter pylori management."
Methods: Systematic prospective noninterventional registry of the clinical practice of European gastroenterologists (27 countries, 300 investigators) on the management of H.
Objective: The best approach for management remains unclear. An audit process is essential to ensure clinical practice is aligned with best standards of care.
Design: International multicentre prospective non-interventional registry starting in 2013 aimed to evaluate the decisions and outcomes in management by European gastroenterologists.
Background: Treatment of hepatitis C virus (HCV) has been dramatically improved with the introduction of direct-acting antiviral agents (DAAs). Universal access to pangenotypic DAAs was provided in France from 2017, expanding the type of patients treated. Real-world studies are important to confirm effectiveness and safety in clinical practice, particularly in vulnerable populations.

Material And Methods: A prospective cohort of adult patients with CHC treated in French general hospitals.
Results: Data from 1,123 patients, distributed into four age groups, were analyzed.

Background And Aims: According to clinical trials, the treatment of patients with chronic hepatitis C (CHC) with second-generation direct acting antiviral agents (DAAs) is highly efficient and well tolerated. The goal of this study was to investigate the effectiveness and safety of various combinations of these drugs during their first 2 years of use in the real-world practice of French general hospitals.
Methods: Data from patients treated with all-oral DAAs in 24 French non-academic hospital centers from March 1, 2014 to January 1, 2016, were prospectively recorded.

Introduction: In Europe, the number of cases of Campylobacter enteritis and their quinolone resistance is increasing. The aims of this work were to evaluate: (1) the hospital epidemiology of bacterial enteritis between 2010 and 2015. (2) The proportion of Campylobacter and Salmonella enteritis.

The aim of this study was to compare HCC characteristics and outcomes in an alcohol-related group (group A) and a non-alcohol-related group (group NA).
Methods: A total of 1207 patients with newly diagnosed HCC were prospectively included between May 2008 and October 2009.
A substantial decrease in Helicobacter pylori-associated peptic ulcer disease has been observed during the last decades. Drug-related ulcers as well as idiopathic ulcers are becoming predominant and are more refractory to treatment; however, H. pylori infection still plays an important role in ulcer bleeding and recurrence after therapy.

Background And Aims: The aim of this study was to determine the mortality and re-bleeding rates, and the risk factors involved, in a cohort of patients with previous diverticular bleeding (DB).
Methods: In 2007, data on 2462 patients with lower gastrointestinal (GI) bleeding were collected prospectively at several French hospitals. We studied the follow-up of patients with DB retrospectively.
CMV infection has been reported in association with some flares of IBD. Its prevalence varies with the method of diagnosis and the severity of IBD. Although the link between CMV and IBD is not clear, the immunomodulator properties of the virus may play a role in the evolution of IBD.

Unlabelled: The consequences of iron overload from dysmetabolic hyper-ferritinaemia are a strong motivation for an active medical care program. Venesection therapy is known to be effective in controlling iron overload parameters although no study has evaluated the impact of the normalization of metabolic dysfunction on iron overload.
Aims: To evaluate the impact of normalization of metabolic dysfunction on iron overload.
