Bovine papillomatosis virus (BPV) is a prevalent cutaneous oncogenic viral disease in cattle, causing economic losses due to reduced milk production, poor carcass quality, and hide damage. Despite BPV's economic significance, molecular information on current strains, genetic relationships, and origins in Egypt is limited, with most studies focusing on electron microscopy and histopathological analysis. The study aimed to genetically analyze BPV-1 circulation in Al-Sharkia, Egypt, and characterize viral strains compared with local and global papillomaviruses isolates.

Background: Small ruminants have a socioeconomic impact on Egypt's production of meat, milk, and wool. Hence, every effort should be taken to prevent infections.
Aim: To elucidate the prevalence and serogrouping of () strains from diarrheic lambs and kids, determine their antibiotic susceptibility and associated risk factors affecting the occurrence of the disease, and establish the most common virulence genes marker and major antimicrobial resistance genes.
Background: Lumpy skin disease (LSD) is endemic in Egypt despite the Egyptian authorities' annual mass vaccination of cattle with sheeppox vaccine (Veterinary Serum and Vaccine Research Institute, Egypt), and the LSD virus (LSDV) continues to thrive practically every summer. The disease has a huge economic impact on the trade of the animal and its by-product.
Aim: This paper study the molecular characterization of LSDV strains that have been circulating in Sharkia Governorate, Egypt, for three successive years (2018, 2019, and 2020).
Intestinal helminth infections are common and of paramount economic importance in domestic animals. Available chemotherapy is limited and anthelmintic resistance is widespread in some hosts. This scenario favors the exploration of alternative methods of control, among them immune modulators.
