Background: Cystic hygroma, a congenital malformation of the lymphatic system, predominantly affects pediatric populations but can also present in adults, posing unique diagnostic and therapeutic challenges. This study aims to document the clinical and radiological extent and involvement of important neurovascular structures and also the outcome of patients treated for large cystic hygroma in the head and neck region.
Methods: A retrospective analysis of medical records was conducted for all 33 patients who underwent surgical excision of large cystic hygromas in our hospital.

The development of alternative anticancer agents with minimal side effects has become more critical due to the rising recurrence of mammalian malignancies and the severe side effects of chemotherapeutic treatments. Kinases are an essential target for neostatic impact as they play an important role in the modulation of growth factor signalling. Our work aims to screen novel nine-series of thiazole-based aminopyrimidines and sulphaminopyrimidines against the enzymes mitochondrial thymidine kinase 2, deoxyguanosine kinase (2OCP), deoxycytidine kinase (2QRN) and thymidylate kinase (1E2Q) by molecular docking, synthesise and to study their in vitro inhibitory studies.

Background: Alzheimer's Disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by the progressive formation of extracellular amyloid plaques, intracellular neurofibrillary tangles, inflammation, and impaired antioxidant systems. Early detection and intervention are vital for managing AD effectively.
Objectives: This review scrutinizes both and screening models employed in Alzheimer's disease research.

Carcinoma buccal mucosa is the most common oral cavity cancer in India. Following excision of these lesions the defects can be reconstructed using various reconstructive techniques. Buccal pad of fat has been successfully used in the reconstruction of small palatal defects and in the closure of the oro antral fistula.

Areteriovenous malformations are rare in the head and neck region and generally arise from intracranial vessels. We present one rare case with spontaneous arteriovenous malformations related to the nose.

We created and transgenically expressed on T cells a heterodimeric chimeric receptor that genetically links an autoantigenic peptide, its restricting MHC, and the signal transduction domain of the T-cell receptor (TCR) zeta-chain. Engagement of the chimeric receptor by the TCR of autoreactive T cells activated the receptor-modified T cells in vitro and in vivo, inducing proliferation and cytolysis.

We have investigated the mechanisms by which the host mounts immune response against tuberculosis after vaccination with secretory proteins (SP) of a vaccine candidate Mycobacterium habana TMC 5135. Mice vaccinated with SP of 10th day growth of M.

We have investigated the intercellular cross-talk between lymphocyte function-associated antigen-1 (LFA-1) and its counter-receptor, intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1). This interaction regulates the postadhesion events leading to the regression of a rat histiocytoma, AK-5, which is mediated by natural killer (NK) cells through antibody-dependent cell cytotoxicity (ADCC).
