Background: Standard treatment for unfavorable-intermediate and high-risk prostate cancer involves androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) in combination with pelvic conventional fractionation (CF) external beam radiotherapy (EBRT) and a CF-EBRT or brachytherapy boost to the prostate.
