[Multivisceral surgeries with pancreatoduodenectomy for gastric cancer: immediate and long-term results].

Objective: To study the immediate and long-term results of multivisceral surgeries with pancreaticoduodenectomy for gastric cancer.

Material And Methods: The 1 group included 24 patients who underwent multivisceral surgeries with pancreaticoduodenectomy for gastric cancer with pancreatic head and/or duodenum invasion. The 2 group included 60 patients with gastric cancer who underwent partial resection of the pancreatic head and/or duodenum rather pancreaticoduodenectomy.

[Late complications and quality of life after multivisceral surgeries with pancreatoduodenectomy].

Objective: To investigate late complications after (PD) as a part of multivisceral surgeries (MVS) and the impact of these interventions on the quality of life.

Material And Methods: Analysis of complications in long-term postoperative period included 776 patients (233 cases of MVS with PD (main group) and 543 cases of standard PD (comparison group)). Analysis of the quality of life included 58 patients from the main group and 67 patients from the comparison group.

Preliminary results of fluorescent lymphography in patients with biliary cancer undergoing liver resection.

Objective: To evaluate the diagnostic capability of intraoperative fluorescence lymphography (FLG) in detecting of sentinel lymph nodes (SLN) and lymph outflow pathways in patients with biliary cancer (BC).

Material And Methods: From April 2023 till March 2024, ten liver resections for BC were performed using FLG. We carried out the standard lymph node dissection with additional removal of lymph nodes (LN) that have accumulated indocyanine green (ICG).

Prognostic factors and preoperative therapy in resectable intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma.

Objective: To identify prognostic factors and role of preoperative therapy for resectable intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (IHCC).

Material And Methods: We analyzed the results of surgical and combined treatment of IHCC between 1999 and 2023. Immediate and long-term outcomes were evaluated depending on negative prognostic factors and additional therapy.

[The Russian consensus on the treatment of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma].

The Russian consensus on the treatment of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma was prepared by the group of experts consisting of surgeons, interventional radiologists, radiation therapists and oncologists. The purposes of this consensus are clarification and consolidation of opinions of multidisciplinary team on the following issues of management of patients with intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma: indications for surgical treatment, features of therapeutic tactics for mechanical jaundice, technical aspects of liver resection, prevention of post-resection liver failure, indications for liver resection using transplantation technologies, laparoscopic and robot-assisted liver resection, perioperative systemic chemotherapy, local non-resection/non-radiotherapy methods of treatment, radiotherapy, follow-up and choice of treatment for recurrence.
