Introduction: Diagnosis of young-onset dementia (YOD) is often delayed due to atypical presentations and lack of awareness. This study explored diagnostic experiences in Australia.

Coherent spectroscopy with a single antiproton spin.

Coherent quantum transition spectroscopy is a powerful tool in metrology, quantum information processing, magnetometry and precision tests of the standard model. It was applied with great success in proton and deuteron magnetic moment measurements, which culminated in maser spectroscopy with sub-parts-per-trillion resolution and many other experiments at the forefront of physics. All of these experiments were performed on macroscopic ensembles of particles, whereas the coherent spectroscopy of a 'free' single nuclear spin has, to our knowledge, never been reported before.

The TLR7/8 agonist INI-4001 enhances the immunogenicity of a Powassan virus-like-particle vaccine.

Powassan virus (POWV) is a pathogenic tick-borne flavivirus that causes fatal neuroinvasive disease in humans. There are currently no approved therapies or vaccines for POWV infection. Here, we develop a POW virus-like particle (POW-VLP) based vaccine adjuvanted with the novel synthetic Toll-like receptor 7/8 agonist INI-4001.

Lived experience perspectives about gaps and barriers in services for those living with, and those providing care, for people with young-onset dementia in Australia: Findings from the Joint Solutions Project.

Introduction: Young-onset dementia (YOD) is a dementia where symptom onset occurs at less than 65 years of age. There has been increased recognition of YOD with improved diagnostic assessments and the introduction of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The Joint Solutions project aimed to evaluate the gaps and barriers along the pathway of care in Australia from a range of stakeholder perspectives to investigate access to services from those who have YOD and those who provide care for them.

Dietary interventions targeting the neurolipidome in epilepsy: From preclinical models to clinical applications and future therapeutic approaches.

Epilepsy is a neurological disorder affecting approximately 50 million people globally and is characterised by recurrent, unprovoked seizures resulting from abnormal, excessive synchronised firing of neurons. Developing new therapeutic targets and biomarkers is key to improving the diagnosis, treatment, and management. This scoping review examines the current literature on the preclinical and clinical applications of dietary interventions that target the neurolipidome in epilepsy.
