Introduction: The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic highlighted the importance of public knowledge, vaccination, government preparedness, and a strong healthcare system in managing infectious diseases. Recently, monkeypox (mpox) cases have emerged globally. This study aimed to assess: (i) the public knowledge related to COVID-19 and its translation into preventive behavior, and (ii) the preparedness of the government and healthcare providers in addressing mpox.

Single-phase dysprosium orthoferrite (DyFeO: DFO) nanoparticles have been synthesized using the nanoagitator bead mill. Rietveld refinement of the experimental X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern confirms the orthorhombic crystal symmetry ( space group) of the material. The surface morphology, grain size distribution, and color mapping were analyzed.

Transparent coiled flow inverters (CFI), which are superior to opaque coil reactors, are hardly explored in performing condensation reactions of organic molecules. Herein, the continuous flow condensation reaction of gallic acid using CFI is reported with a 4 mm internal diameter. The length of the flow reactor is varied by connecting CFIs in series.

Streptococcus pyogenes, a medium-priority pathogen on the WHO's 2024 Bacterial Pathogen Priority List, is a major cause of infectious disease-related mortality. The increasing prevalence of antibiotic resistance, coupled with the absence of a licensed vaccine due to the pathogen's genetic diversity and autoimmune concerns, underscores the need for novel therapeutic strategies. This study employs reverse vaccinology and subtractive proteomics to design a multi-epitope vaccine targeting atpF, a conserved extracellular protein essential for ATP synthesis.

Indoor photovoltaic (IPV) technology has emerged as an effective strategy to sustainably power batteryless Internet of Things (IoT) devices. Though tin perovskite solar cells offer competitive IPV performance, their effectiveness is often compromised by Sn oxidation, particularly when processed with dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) solvent. This work explored the IPV performance of DMSO-free tin perovskites FASnI Br by tuning the halide composition.
