To understand shared and ancestry-specific genetic control of brain protein expression and its ramifications for disease, we mapped protein quantitative trait loci (pQTLs) in 1,362 brain proteomes from African American, Hispanic/Latin American and non-Hispanic white donors. Among the pQTLs that multiancestry fine-mapping MESuSiE confidently assigned as putative causal pQTLs in a specific population, most were shared across the three studied populations and are referred to as multiancestry causal pQTLs. These multiancestry causal pQTLs were enriched for exonic and promoter regions.

Background: Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) are the leading cause of mortality in Arkansas, West Virginia, and Oklahoma, underscoring the need for approaches to build primary care capacity to address CVD in these states.
Methods: The "ECHO+" model integrates a CVD-focused tele-education course with quality improvement (QI) training and coaching to empower rural primary care providers (PCPs) in diagnosing and managing CVD effectively.
Results: 41 clinicians participated in the program.
H yaluronidase (HAase) is a clinically significant enzyme involved in tumor progression, extracellular matrix remodeling, and inflammation. Hence, HAase is an important biomarker for disease diagnostics. Here, a label-free, pH-responsive biosensor using ultraviolet (UV)-treated liquid crystals (LCs) for HAase detection is presented.

This scoping review examines how nurse triage is implemented, including the types of nurses involved, settings, triage algorithms, classification systems, and outcomes.
Methods: A search of five electronic databases, including PubMed, CINAHL, EMBASE, Web of Science, and Cochrane Central, was conducted in July 2025.
