Reliable estimates of storm surge and sea level extremes with proper uncertainty quantification are key for cost-effective risk/adaptation planning. However, observational estimates are often unavailable or uncertain along most coastlines owing to data scarcity. Here, we provide a fully observational-driven probabilistic dataset (US-CoastEX) of storm surge and sea level extremes for the U.

Introduction: Decline in kidney function due to renal fibrosis is a potential side effect in patients with neuroendocrine neoplasm (NEN) undergoing Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy (PRRT). We aimed to investigate the potential of circulating fibrosis markers reflecting formation and degradation of collagens in predicting decline in kidney function in NEN-patients undergoing PRRT.

Material And Methods: We included NEN-patients referred for PRRT treatment.

Background: Achromatopsia is an autosomal recessive genetic disease, and 95% of achromatopsia patients carry pathogenic mutations in the CNGA3 and CNGB3 genes. Once translated, these genes function together by forming a cone photoreceptor CNG channel protein complex.

Results: There are 150 CNGA3 missense variants reported in achromatopsia patients, but the pathogenicity of 103 variants remains unknown due to inconclusive genetic information.

The late blight pathogen, , poses a significant threat to tomato crops worldwide. To understand the potential for rapid adaptation of this pathogen, we conducted an in vitro experimental evolution study with four US-23 lineages collected from tomato hosts with different combinations of resistance genes ( genes). These isolates were passed serially over eight generations on five tomato cultivars.

Purpose: Deep phenotyping of genetic retinal disease using multimodal adaptive optics ophthalmoscopy and protein structure variant analysis.

Observations: In a patient with extensive atrophy of the retinal pigment epithelium and yellow deposits in the retina, genetic testing identified two variants: c.802-8_810delinsGC and c.
