Diurnal floret opening and closure (DFOC) is essential for rice reproductive development and hybrid breeding, yet transcriptional dynamics and underlying regulatory networks remain poorly characterized. Here, we conducted high-temporal-resolution transcriptomic analyses of lodicules to dissect DFOC regulatory networks in two japonica rice cultivars. Analysis of differentially expressed genes (DEGs) uncovered core genes shared by both cultivars, primarily associated with jasmonic acid (JA) signaling and cell wall remodeling.

The keto-enol tautomerism, involving a reversible isomerization of the molecule, plays a critical role in organic synthesis, biological activity, and molecular-scale charge transport. Radical coupling reactions have been widely used in the synthesis of complex organic molecules, materials science, and drug research. However, restricted conditions or special catalysts are required to overcome the energy barrier and trigger the coupling reaction efficiently. In this study, we provide experimental evidence that the C─N radical coupling reactions can be significantly accelerated by an oriented external electric field (OEEF) under synchronous UV irradiation without a catalyst.

The sequential preparation of perovskite solar cells (PSCs) has received widespread concern for its use in large-scale perovskite modules and perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells. However, the instability of the PbI precursor solution and the incomplete reaction of ammonium salts hinder the industrialization of PSCs. Here, by introducing phthalamide (PA) into PbI solution, the carbonyl oxygen of PA molecules undergoes a bidentate coordination reaction with Pb to form an octahedral coordination structure, and the nitrogen atom in the -NH group exhibits weakly acidic properties due to the conjugation effect.
