Objective: To evaluate morphological changes in the mandibular condyle (MC) during its remodeling following bimaxillary orthognathic surgery in patients with skeletal class III malocclusion.
Material And Methods: İn this study 32 three-dimensional virtual models of the condylar process of the mandible from 16 patients with skeletal class III malocclusion have been analyzed. The models were generated from computed tomography scans performed one week before (T) and 12 months after (T) bimaxillary orthognathic surgery.
Study Objective: : to assess the morphological changes in the mandibular condylar processes during functional remodeling after bimaxillary orthognathic surgery in patients with Class II skeletal malocclusion.
Material And Methods: The study analyzed 30 3D models of mandibular condyle (MC) obtained from computed tomography scans of patients (=15), conducted 1 week before and 12 months after bimaxillary orthognathic surgery (T1 and T2, respectively). The analysis included a comparison of the volumes of the 3D MC models at T1 and T2, as well as measuring the T1-T2 distances of the 3D MC models at the poles of five surfaces (superior, anterior, posterior, medial, and lateral).

Stages of comprehensive orthodontic-surgical treatment of patients with skeletal anomaly of occlusion of 2nd Angle class were offered. Peculiarities of orthodontic preparation for 2-sided sagittal mandible osteotomy, maxilla osteotomy on the level of Le Fort I with single step fragmentation were determined.

The paper presents a procedure for spiral computed tomography that may be used if there are some difficulties in the diagnosis of impaction of different teeth. Examples art used to show the capacities of specified diagnosis in solving the problems and difficulties in surgical or orthodontic treatment.
