: Spinopelvic alignment may affect the outcomes of total hip arthroplasty (THA), with pelvic version influencing the risk of mechanical complications occurring after surgery. On the other hand, THA surgery itself may contribute to the modification of pelvis version. The sacro-femoro-pubic (SFP) angle is measured on anteroposterior (AP) radiographs of the pelvis in a supine position, and is used to estimate pelvic tilt (PT), representative of pelvic version, which requires lateral views of the sacrum for its calculation; however, these X rays are not routinely performed in the preoperative setting of hip surgery.

Herein, we investigated the cellular and molecular factors required to facilitate the generation of an ILC1-like CD49a+ NK cell population within the liver metastasis (LM) environment of colorectal cancer (CRC). We show that CD49a+ NK cells had the highest cytotoxic capacity among metastasis-infiltrating NK cells in the MC38 mouse model.

Putti served as director of the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute in Bologna from 1915 until his death in 1940 and was one of the founding members of the "Société Internationale de Chirurgie Orthopédique et de Traumatologie" (SICOT). He also played a key role in organizing the third SICOT World Congress, held in Bologna in 1936.

Introduction: Total Hip Arthroplasty (THA) is the main treatment for end-stage degenerative hip arthrosis in the elderly, while became increasingly performed as treatment of secondary arthrosis in younger patients, a population at high functional requests in terms of resumption of physical activity and resumption of sexual activity. This study evaluates the physical, sports recovery and the sexual quality of life in young patients undergoing primary THA.
Materials And Methods: Patients undergoing primary THA aged between 18 and 45, operated in a 10 year timeframe, were selected.

Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most common malignancies and leading causes of cancer-related deaths worldwide. Despite its complex pathogenesis and progression, CRC represents a well-fitting example of how the immune contexture can dictate the disease outcome. The presence of cytotoxic lymphocytes, both CD8 T cells and natural killer (NK) cells, represents a relevant prognostic factor in CRC and is associated with a better overall survival.
