Background: Amiodarone is the most commonly used class III antiarrhytmic drug with antiarrhytmic and vasodilator properties. Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) serves as a crucial source of intracellular energy, while resveratrol is known for its potent antioxidant activity.

Objectives: This study aimed to biochemically, histopathologically and immunohistochemically evaluate the effects of ATP, resveratrol and their combination on potential liver damage and dysfunction induced by amiodarone in rats.

The molecular mechanism of the protective effect of tianeptine against ovarian ischemia-reperfusion injury.

Torsion of the ovary is a gynecologic emergency that occurs when the ovary and fallopian tube rotate around the infundibulopelvic ligament, causing ischemic changes in the adnexa. Tianeptine is an atypical antidepressant that has been shown to be effective in treatment-resistant depression and has fewer side effects than other antidepressants. In this study, the protective effect of tianeptine on ovarian ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury in female rats was evaluated.

Effects of adenosine triphosphate and coenzyme Q10 on potential hydroxychloroquine-induced retinal damage in rats.

This study aimed to investigate biochemically and histopathologically the protective effect of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) against potential hydroxychloroquine (HCQ)-induced retinal damage in rats. Twenty-four male albino Wistar-type rats were randomly separated into four groups: healthy (HG), receiving HCQ (HQG), receiving ATP + HCQ (AHQ), and receiving CoQ10 + HCQ (CoQHQ). ATP (4 mg/kg, intraperitoneal) was given to the AHQ, and CoQ10 (10 mg/kg, oral) to the CoQHQ.

The role of Hippophae rhamnoides L. on 5-fluorouracil-ınduced oral mucositis in rats.

Current study aimed to research the effect of Hippophae rhamnoides (HRE) on potantial oral oxidative and inflammatory damage of 5-FU in rats. The rats were assigned to three groups; healthy (HG), 5-FU 100mg/kg (FUG) and HRE 50mg/kg +5-FU 100mg/kg (HRFU). The 5-FU was injected in the FUG group intraperitoneally.

Sugammadex, the effect of which we plan to research against gastric I/R damage, is a modified gamma-cyclodextrin that antagonizes the action of steroidal neuromuscular blocking drugs. Previous studies have reported that sugammadex inhibits PNL infiltration.

Effect of low and high dose of favipiravir on ovarian and reproductive function in female rats: Biochemical and histopathological evaluation.

Favipiravir is a drug which shows antiviral activity by inhibiting RNA-dependent RNA polymerase. Favipiravir causes severe adverse effects at high doses. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of low and high dose favipiravir on ovarian and reproductive function in female rats.
