Benign Hydrogen Vacancy in Bromide-Based Organic-Inorganic Hybrid Perovskites.

Bromide-based organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites (OIHPs) have emerged as one of the outstanding photovoltaic materials. We demonstrate using density functional theory and nonadiabatic molecular dynamics simulations that detrimental hydrogen vacancy (V) in iodide-based OIHPs turns out to be benign in bromide-based OIHPs. Benign V in MAPbBr [MA = CHNH] is mainly attributed to the absence of deep trap states.

- We developed a simulation algorithm and an experimental platform that improved the M factor of pulsed lasers to 2.2 with an output of 25.9 W at 10 kHz repetition rate.
- Our findings suggest that under certain conditions, thermal effects can actually enhance beam quality, providing a simpler alternative to traditional methods that require extra optical components.
Simultaneous removal of SO and NO from flue gas can be biologically achieved by the rotating drum biofilter with Fe(EDTA) as a solvent. One issue related with this process is the generation of HS. Objective: Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and Tourette syndrome (TS) are heritable neurodevelopmental disorders with a partially shared genetic etiology. This study represents the first genome-wide investigation of large (>500 kb), rare (<1%) copy number variants (CNVs) in OCD and the largest genome-wide CNV analysis in TS to date.
Method: The primary analyses used a cross-disorder design for 2,699 case patients (1,613 ascertained for OCD, 1,086 ascertained for TS) and 1,789 controls.
