A drug delivery system using forsythoside A-loaded exosomes (FTA-Exos) was created to study how it affects the movement of A549 human lung cancer cells, demonstrating high biocompatibility and low immunogenicity.
The FTA-Exos were characterized through various methods, revealing a spheroidal shape, specific protein expressions, and an average size of about 139 nm.
The experiments showed that FTA-Exos were effectively taken up by A549 cells, where they inhibited cell migration more significantly than forsythoside A alone, suggesting a promising approach for cancer treatment research.
