This study aimed (I) to identify the CGA elements that most influence anti-cancer treatment decisions in older patients and (II) to explore the predictive value of CGA components for mortality. : This observational study included older patients with newly diagnosed, histologically confirmed solid or hematological cancers, recruited consecutively from 2003 to 2023.

Background: There is an unmet need of personalized strategies taking into account the influence of sex on treatment. Toxicities commonly lead to dose reductions or delays, which may impact outcomes. Uncommon presentation of a giant psoas muscle lipoma: a case report and brief literature review.

Giant retroperitoneal lipomas, particularly within the psoas muscle, are a rare condition. We herein present one such case of a 45-year-old Italian man and a literature review. There are only two case reports published in the literature, thus posing challenges for the appropriate diagnosis and treatment.

Up to 13% of and wild-type (WT) gastrointestinal stromal tumours (GIST) harbour a BRAF mutation, mostly involving the exon 15 hot spot. Even if mutation is recognized as druggable target in other solid tumours, currently advanced -mutant GIST share the same therapeutical algorithm of mutants. We report a complete radiological response in a 51-year-old woman with V600E BRAF-mutated metastatic GIST who was treated with regorafenib (REG) as first-line therapy.
