Photochemical CO Reduction by a Postsynthetically Modified Zr-MOF.

Metal-organic frameworks are an excellent platform for photochemical CO reduction into valuable chemicals. Herein, we report the synthesis and photocatalytic behavior of Ru@MOF-808, a Zr-based MOF, modified with a Ru-polypyridyl complex. The postsynthetic modification was achieved using solvent-assisted incorporation of bipyridine-carboxylate ligands onto the nodes of the MOF-808, followed by the coordination of Ru(II)-terpyridine moiety.

In this removal study, the removal efficiency of Uranium from aqueous solution using cellulose extracted from the leaves of the Musa paradisiaca plant was analyzed. The removal efficiency was analyzed for adsorbent doses in the range of 10 mg-50 mg, uranium ion concentrations from 10 μg/L to 100 μg/L, a pH range of 2-7, and time intervals between 15 min and 60 min. Results indicated that a maximum removal efficiency of 97.

We found that PPA2 overexpression promotes mitochondrial fission by upregulating the mitochondrial translocation of phosphorylated DNM1L S616.
