View Article and Find Full Text PDFBackground: Antenatal ultrasonography measurements of the estimated fetal weight (EFW) are a critical point in the decision-making process of obstetric planning and management to preserve the safety of both the newborn and the mother. This study aims to investigate the accuracy of ultrasonography to measure the EFW in comparison with the actual birth weight (BW) measured immediately after delivery.
Methods: In this retrospective study, electronic records of 270 newborns who fulfilled the inclusion criteria were retrieved.
Purpose: To examine the current application of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) among radiology professionals, including radiologists and radiographers, in Saudi Arabia and to identify challenges in order to propose suitable future improvement strategies if it is required.
Method: A mixed-method design was used in this study. A survey consisting of 23 questions addressing research activities and EBP within radiology departments was sent to radiology personnel.

Background: Obstructive jaundice is a common health challenge in daily clinical practice caused by a heterogeneous group of benign and malignant conditions in or around extrahepatic bile ducts. This study aimed to investigate the causes of obstructive jaundice, analyze the age and sex distribution, and report the locations of obstruction.
Methods: This was a retrospective study of electronic records of patients diagnosed with obstructive jaundice in the Hadhramout region in Yemen.
Several studies have suggested a correlation between serum vitamin D (VitD) level and multiple sclerosis (MS). MS has a known latitudinal distribution pattern, with greater incidence, prevalence, and mortality rates at higher latitudes. This study aims to assess levels of VitD and serum potassium in subjects with MS and the impact of gender and age as disease risk factors.

Tuberculosis (TB) is a bacterial infection with ; it is a public health problem worldwide and one of the leading causes of mortality. Since December 2019, the COVID-19 pandemic has created unprecedented health challenges and disrupted the TB health services, especially in high-burden countries with ever-increasing prevalence. Extrapulmonary and even pulmonary TB are an important cause of nonspecific clinical and radiological manifestations and can masquerade as any benign or malignant medical case, thus causing disastrous conditions and diagnostic dilemmas.
