Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women globally, and the risk of developing breast cancer is associated with inflammation. The present study aimed to examine the association between the Dietary Inflammatory Index (DII) and breast cancer in Korean women and investigate whether the tumor's hormone receptor status affects this association. In this case-control study, we enrolled 364 breast cancer patients and 364 age-matched controls.
