Social Participation When Aging With an Early-Onset Neurological Disability: Protocol for Descriptive Qualitative Research.

Background: Due to improvements in health care and rehabilitation, as well as better social conditions, individuals living with traumatic brain injury (TBI), multiple sclerosis (MS), or spinal cord injury (SCI) are living longer. It is therefore necessary to ensure the presence of social and health services adapted to the realities and specific needs of these populations aging with disabilities. Social participation is a key determinant of active aging and health.

Development of a Program to Optimize the Experience and the Use of At-Home Oral Chemotherapies in Pediatric Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia: A Participatory Approach Using the Behavior Change Wheel.

BackgroundChildren diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) receive oral chemotherapies (OCs) for 2 years. The at-home self-management of OCs and their consequences on the child lead to multifaceted difficulties that can impact their optimal use and the family's well-being. We report the development process and the detailed plan of a program to support families throughout the treatment.

Perspectives of Women with Breast Cancer and Healthcare Providers Participating in an Adherence-Enhancing Program for Adjuvant Endocrine Therapy: A Qualitative Study.

Background: Adjuvant endocrine therapy (AET) is prescribed for 5-10 years to women with hormone-sensitive breast cancer to prevent recurrence. However, a significant proportion of women do not adhere to AET. We developed SOIE, a one-year program designed to enhance the AET experience and adherence.
