Efficacy and safety of superior laryngeal nerve block in neurogenic cough: A systematic review and meta-analysis.

Background: Neurogenic cough is a chronic condition characterized by persistent coughing that is unresponsive to conventional treatments. It is thought to result from sensory neuropathy of the laryngeal nerves, leading to heightened cough reflex sensitivity. Current management strategies include neuromodulating medications and speech therapy, but these are often ineffective or associated with significant side effects.

Background: Childhood hearing loss (CHL) is a condition that can have a variety of causes, including genetic and environmental and its prevalence is thought to be high in Saudi Arabian population mainly due to consanguineous unions. This systematic literature review aims to conclude the prevalence of hereditary hearing loss and its risk factors among the Saudi population.

Capillary Hemangioma Involving the External Auditory Canal: Case Report and Review of the Literature.

Hemangioma is a frequently observed soft tissue tumor that can be classified into cavernous, capillary, and venous subtypes. It occurs frequently in the head and neck; however, with rare reports of hemangiomas in the external auditory canal (EAC). The present study describes the case of a 57-year-old male patient who presented to our center with a subsequent diagnosis of capillary hemangioma of the EAC.
