Solid tumors, the main cause of cancer-related death, represent a significant therapeutic challenge due to the high-density microenvironment and intolerance to conventional treatments. Nanobody-based immunotoxins (NbITs) are an exciting candidate, combining the ultimate specificity of nanobodies (single-domain antibody fragments of camelid antibodies) and detrimental effects of the toxin. These nanobodies are small (one-tenth of conventional antibody size), thermostable with high specificity, high antigen binding affinity which give it the ability to penetrate into solid tumors.

This encounter has the potential to dictate their therapeutic efficacy (also referred to as licensing). MSCs are able to rapidly react to cellular damage by migrating to the inflamed tissue and ultimately modifying the inflammatory microenvironment.

Various types of liver or hepatic diseases cause the death of about 2 million people worldwide every year, of which 1 million die from the complications of cirrhosis and another million from hepatocellular carcinoma and viral hepatitis. Currently, the second most common solid organ transplant is the liver, and the current rate represents less than 10% of global transplant requests. Hence, finding new approaches to treat and prevent liver diseases is essential.

Prostate cancer represents the second most prevalent form of cancer found in males, and stands as the fifth primary contributor to cancer-induced mortality on a global scale. Research has shown that transplanted mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) can migrate by homing to tumor sites in the body. In prostate cancer, researchers have explored the fact that MSC-based therapies (including genetically modified delivery vehicles or vectors) and MSC-derived exosomes are emerging as attractive options to improve the efficacy and safety of traditional cancer therapies.

The use of natural compounds, such as curcumin, to treat infections caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites, inflammatory diseases, and various types of cancer is an active and dynamic area of research. Curcumin has a long history of use in the food industry, and there is currently a growing interest in its therapeutic applications. Numerous clinical trials have consistently shown that curcumin, a polyphenolic compound, is safe and well-tolerated even at high doses.

It should be stated that systemic immunoregulation is increasingly recognized among the beneficial effects of MSCs and probiotics in treating morbid autoimmune disorders such as lupus. This study aimed to determine if immunoregulatory probiotics L.

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) have recently emerged with unique properties, including a solid propensity to reduce inflammation, exert immunomodulatory effects, and repair injured tissues.
Methods: An animal model of acquired SLE mice was induced via intraperitoneal immunization with Pristane and affirmed by measuring specific biomarkers.
The breakdown of self-tolerance of the immune response can lead to autoimmune conditions in which chronic inflammation induces tissue damage. Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a debilitating multisystemic autoimmune disorder with a high prevalence in women of childbearing age; however, SLE incidence, prevalence, and severity are strongly influenced by ethnicity. Although the mystery of autoimmune diseases remains unsolved, disturbance in the proportion and function of B cell subsets has a major role in SLE's pathogenesis.

The etiology of a broad spectrum of symptoms is still debated. Host genetic variants might also significantly influence the outcome of the disease.

Gold standard therapies, which mainly include immunosuppressive agents, have been able to have therapeutic effects on patients.
