Background: There are no optimised patient blood management (PBM) protocols for brain tumor resection (BTR). The aim of this study was to compare the prevalence of packed red cells (PRCs) units reserved with the prevalence of transfusion during BTR and analyse preoperative anemia.

A database of multi-trait signals of recordings from an age-matched control and PD participants are used in the experimental study.
Hypothesis: The main assumption is that information between sEMG and 3D acceleration, and acoustic features may be quantified using linear regression methods.

Negative capacitance in the low-frequency domain and inverted hysteresis are familiar features in perovskite solar cells, which origin is still under discussion. Here we use impedance spectroscopy to analyze these responses in methylammonium lead bromide cells treated with lithium cations at the electron-selective layer/perovskite interface and in iodide devices exposed to different relative humidity conditions. Employing the , we obtain a time constant associated with the kinetics of the interaction of ions/vacancies with the surface, τ, in the range of 10-10 s for all the cases exhibiting both features.

This study, based on the N-shaped cubic model of the environmental Kuznets curve, analyzes the evolution of per capita greenhouse gas emissions (GHGpc) using not just economic growth but also public budgets dedicated to energy-oriented research development and demonstration (RD&D) and energy intensity. The empirical evidence, obtained from an econometric model of fixed effects for 28 OECD countries during 1994-2010, suggests that energy innovations help reduce GHGpc levels and mitigate the negative impact of energy intensity on environmental quality. When countries develop active energy RD&D policies, they can reduce both the rates of energy intensity and the level of GHGpc emissions.
