The present study aimed to determine the frequency of mismatch repair (MMR) protein expression loss, as identified using immunohistochemistry (IHC), in tumor cells of endometrial cancer patients and the potential associations between this loss of expression and various clinicopathological characteristics. The preparations were considered positive if tumor cells showed immunoreactivity that was equal to or stronger than that of positive controls and negative if tumor cells completely lost immunoreactivity. MMR proficiency was defined as positive IHC staining of all four proteins [MutL homolog 1 (MLH1), MutS homolog 2, MutS homolog 6 and PMS1 homolog 2 (PMS2)].

The study aims to determine the predictive efficacy of rectus abdominis muscle (RAM) and psoas major muscle (PMM) thickness and other factors such as age, American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) score, operation duration, obesity, preoperative inflammatory markers, and pathological findings for postoperative morbidity.
Material And Methods: One hundred forty-one patients who underwent total abdominal hysterectomy + bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy + retroperitoneal lymphadenectomy + omentectomy for endometrial cancer were assessed retrospectively.
The objective of the present study was to examine how intermediate-risk factors affect the oncological outcomes of patients diagnosed with International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) 2018 stage IB2 cervical cancer who do not undergo any adjuvant treatment. A multicentric retrospective study that involved 612 patients who were diagnosed with stage IA-IB2 cervical cancer at seven tertiary gynaecological oncology centres between 1993 and 2023 was conducted. A total of 232 patients were classified as FIGO 2018 stage IB2.

Material And Methods: A retrospective review was conducted of patients diagnosed with EIN who underwent hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy between 2019 and 2024. Data collected included demographic details, cancer antigen-125 levels, hematological parameters, HALP score, PNI, mSIS, and preoperative endometrial thickness.
Objective: The primary objective of this study was to identify the risk of metastasis to lymph nodes above the inferior mesenteric artery (IMA) in endometrioid-type endometrial cancer (EC) and the factors that influence metastasis.
Methods: The study included patients who had been operated on for endometrioid-type EC in three gynecological oncology centers between 2007 and 2023. The supramesenteric lymph node (SM-LN) is the region between the left renal vein and the IMA, whereas the inframesenteric lymph node (IM-LN) is the region between the IMA and the aortic bifurcation, as determined by the level of the IMA.
Background: This study aimed to determine the effect of neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) on the complex surgical procedures required in addition to staging surgery for the need to achieve a residual tumor 1 cm or less in a population of stage IIIC-IV epithelial ovarian cancer patients.
Methods: Patients were referred for NACT if preoperative imaging and/or intraoperative evaluation confirmed that it was not possible to achieve a residual tumor size of 1 cm or less with cytoreductive surgery or if the patient had a poor performance status and a high American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) score. Surgical complexity was defined as complex or non-complex.

Objective: To determine whether patients with atypical squamous cells, cannot exclude high grade squamous intraepithelial neoplasia (ASC-H) cytology have a correlation between high-risk human papillomavirus (HPV) type and CIN 2+ lesion in final pathology.
Material And Methods: The study was conducted retrospectively, using data from three tertiary gynecologic oncology centers located in various regions of Turkey. Data from 5,271 patients who had colposcopy between January 2003 and January 2021 were analyzed.
Objective: The main feature of adult granulosa cell tumors (AGCT) is their capacity to secrete hormones, with nearly all of them capable of synthesizing oestradiol. The primary goal of this study is to identify synchronized endometrial pathologies, particularly endometrial cancer, in AGCT patients who had undergone a hysterectomy.
Materials And Methods: The study cohort comprised retrospectively of 316 AGCT patients from 10 tertiary gynecological oncology centers.
In this retrospective study, patients with epithelial gynaecologic cancer with pulmonary recurrence (PR) were evaluated from five national gynaecologic oncology clinics. Patients with a diagnosis of primary endometrial, ovarian/fallopian tube/peritoneal, cervical or vaginal/vulvar tumours who developed an initial PR were included in the study A total of 122 patients were included in the study. The median follow-up time after recurrence was 7.

This study included patients who underwent radical hysterectomy and lymphadenectomy according to Wertheim-Okabayashi for stage IB1-IIA2 cervical carcinoma. Each patient had at least one intermediate-risk factor including tumour diameter ≥4 cm, deep stromal invasion, and positive lymphovascular space invasion (LVSI).
