Methodology: A retrospective cohort study analyzed 1576 patients treated between 2021 and 2024 in Almoosa Health Group, Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia.
Background: Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming the nursing profession, presenting significant opportunities and challenges. Despite its promising potential in enhancing nursing education, clinical practice, and operational efficiency, critical barriers related to ethics, workforce adaptation, and humanistic care persist.
Aim: This integrative review systematically evaluates the integration of AI in nursing practice, with a specific focus on nursing education, clinical care, workload management, and professional perceptions.
Background: The Automated Dispensing Cabinets (ADCs) represent one of the most widely deployed forms of technology integrated with today's medication-use systems. Despite the rise of ADC use and subsequent benefits, research exploring the impacts of ADCs on staff acceptance and satisfaction is still relatively limited and not thoroughly investigated. The present study aims to address this by assessing the impact of ADC implementation on healthcare staff satisfaction.

Method: An online survey was carried out in two hospitals (control and intervention) in Saudi Arabia post SkiTS educational intervention, which was offered only to participants in the intervention group. Three weeks after birth, a semi-structured interview was carried out among participants from the intervention group to explore the impact of SkiTS educational intervention on their experience with skin-to-skin contact.
Introduction: Burnout among nurses has emerged as a critical issue in healthcare and is gaining considerable attention due to its profound negative effects. The pervasive nature and significant effects that burnout might hold underscore the crucial need to assess this issue and its contributing factors among nurses. However, there is an evident gap in research precisely addressing this issue among nurses working in private hospitals in the Gulf Region.

Nevertheless, research is scarce on the impact of nefopam in managing postoperative pain following laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC), and the advantageous effects of nefopam remain unclear. In this research, the effectiveness of nefopam was compared to placebo for the treatment of postoperative pain following LC.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFTonsillectomy and adenoidectomy are two common pediatric operations that are frequently associated with postoperative problems like emergence agitation (EA) and emergence delirium (ED). Intranasal dexmedetomidine, which has anxiolytic and sedative qualities with low respiratory effects, is becoming increasingly popular as a premedication in pediatric patients. However, there is limited evidence on its efficacy in tonsillectomy and/or adenoidectomy.
