Introduction: Three MR-targeted biopsy (MR-TB) techniques-software fusion (FUS-TB), cognitive (COG-TB), and in-bore (IB-TB)-are considered comparable by EAU guidelines, although recommendations remain weak. This study aimed to compare detection rates of clinically significant (csPCa), insignificant (cisPCa), and overall prostate cancer (PCa).
Materials And Methods: This prospective, non-randomized, controlled bicentric study (2019-2024) included biopsy-naïve and previously negative biopsy patients with suspected PCa (PSA ≥ 2 ng/mL, TRUS lesion, positive DRE and PI-RADSv2.

In patients treated with salvage lymph node dissection (sLND) for nodal recurrence of prostate cancer, whether radioguided surgery (RGS) might improve oncologic outcomes as compared with template sLND remains unknown. This study included 259 patients who experienced a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) rise and nodal-only recurrence after radical prostatectomy and underwent pelvic sLND at 11 tertiary referral centers between 2012 and 2022. Lymph node recurrence was documented by prostate-specific membrane antigen positron emission tomography scans.

Introduction: Optilume and Optilume BPH, a minimally invasive drug-coated balloon (DCB) combining mechanical dilation with paclitaxel delivery, offers a novel approach for treating urethral strictures and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) respectively. This scoping review summarizes current evidence on their efficacy, safety, and long-term outcomes to evaluate their role in reducing recurrence and improving patient-reported and functional outcomes.
Methods: Following PRISMA guidelines, a systematic search (Embase, PubMed, Cochrane, Scopus) until March 2025 identified 287 studies.

Introduction: Abiraterone acetate is an inhibitor of androgen biosynthesis and is approved as a treatment for metastatic castration-resistant and metastatic castration-sensitive prostate cancer. Neither relugolix nor abiraterone is known to cause acute kidney injury (AKI).
Case Presentation: A 72-year-old Caucasian man with metastatic prostate cancer presented with non-oliguric severe AKI 1 week after receiving simultaneous therapy with relugolix and abiraterone.

Bladder cancer (BCa) remains a significant clinical challenge because of high recurrence rates and variable response to immunotherapy and chemotherapy. Recent studies have highlighted the role of N6-methyladenosine (mA) modification in RNA in the regulation of various cellular processes, including tumor progression and drug resistance. The review examines the impact of mA methylation on BCa pathogenesis, with a particular special focus on the role of mA pathway factors and mA-modified RNAs in tumorigenesis, proliferation, invasion, and migration of cancer cells.

Kidney cancer ranks as the 14th most common cancer worldwide. Despite its heterogeneity, it often presents with clinical manifestations similar to other renal diseases, which complicates timely diagnosis. Many types of malignant renal neoplasms can mimic benign processes, and some tumors can develop asymptomatically until the late stages of the disease.

Introduction: This study aimed to compare the urinary microbiota of healthy women, women with a predisposition to UTIs, and patients with chronic recurrent cystitis using real-time PCR, as well as identify diagnostic markers for urinary diseases.
Methods: The study enrolled 3 groups of patients: a healthy control group, patients with chronic recurrent cystitis, and patients with a risk of developing UTIs. Urine samples were analyzed by multiplex real-time PCR reagent kits Femoflor®16 and BacScreen OM.

Background: Advances in technology have led to the introduction of the suction ureteral access sheaths (SUASs) in ureteroscopy (URS) and retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS), with their clinical benefits becoming widely acknowledged. We aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of using SUASs during URS and RIRS.
Methods: A systematic search was conducted in April 2024 across the MEDLINE, Scopus, and Web of Science databases.

Minimally invasive treatments (MITs) have emerged as viable treatment options for carefully selected patients with localized disease. Their major advantage is that MITs enable the preservation of nearby healthy prostate tissue and critical structures such as the urethral sphincter and neurovascular bundles without compromising oncologic outcomes. The aim of the current review is to describe the impact of different MITs for prostate cancer (PCa) on urinary continence.

Introduction And Aim: Guideline-based patient educational materials (PEMs) empower patients and reduce misinformation, but require frequent updates and must be adapted to the readability level of patients. The aim is to assess whether generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) can provide readable, accurate, and up-to-date PEMs that can be subsequently translated into multiple languages for broad dissemination.
Study Design And Methods: The European Association of Urology (EAU) guidelines for prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular cancer were used as the knowledge base for GPT-4 to generate PEMs.

Introduction: Retroperitoneal lymph node dissection (RPLND) is crucial in managing metastatic germ cell tumors (GCTs), particularly post-chemotherapy. Given the long-term survival of these patients, perioperative morbidity is a significant concern. However, data on RPLND morbidity using predefined reporting standards are scarce.

Aim: To compare the incidence of postoperative stress urinary incontinence (SUI) in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia after three different techniques of thulium fiber laser prostate enucleation (ThuFLEP): two-lobe, enucleation of all lobes in a single block (en-bloc) and enucleation of all lobes in a single block without additional longitudinal incisions (total en-bloc).
Materials And Methods: A retrospective and prospective comparative analysis included 472 patients, who were undergone to three different techniques of ThuFLEP. The surgical interventions were performed by three experienced surgeons from January 2015 to May 2023.
Background: The efficiency of surgical treatment of stress urinary incontinence (SUI) in women is 77-85%, and in nearly 15% of cases repeated procedures are required.
Aim: To present the experience of our center in the treatment of recurrent SUI in women and to evaluate the efficiency of repeated interventions.
Materials And Methods: The retrospective study included women with recurrent SUI.
Introduction: Sildenafil citrate (Viagra) is widely used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). However, this drug is associated with high frequency of adverse events such as headaches and cardiovascular disorders. Introduction: The profession of a locomotive engineer involves stress, lack of adequate sleep and rest, and a sedentary lifestyle, all of which can contribute to the development of erectile dysfunction (ErD) as well as arterial hypertension.
Materials And Methods: Consecutive patients of the railway hospital in Barnaul with arterial hypertension aged 30-60 who work as machinists or assistant locomotive drivers were enrolled. Those who have symptoms of ErD were randomized into three groups: group 1 received an endogenous nitric oxide-synthase (NOS) activator, group 2 received a combination of endogenous NOS activator and phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor (PDE-5i), and group 3 received no additional treatment for ErD.
