Objectives: Osteoarthritis (OA) is one of the most common chronic degenerative diseases, with chondrocyte apoptosis and extracellular matrix (ECM) degradation as the major pathological changes. The mechanical stimulation can attenuate chondrocyte apoptosis and promote ECM synthesis, but the underlying molecular mechanisms remain unclear. This study aims to investigate the role of primary cilia (PC) in mediating the effects of mechanical stimulation on OA progression.

By doping boron (B), aluminum (Al), and aluminum/boron (Al/B) utilizing the sol-gel method, we demonstrate a substantial improvement in the cycling performance of Ni-rich lithium nickel manganese cobalt oxide (NMC) as an electrode. While the initial specific capacitance of the doped samples may be lower than that of the pristine NMC, these samples demonstrate a notable increase in specific capacitance during subsequent cycles, reaching a peak around the 10 cycle and nearing the highest specific capacitance observed in NMC cathodes.

Here, we present multiscale cleared tissue axially swept light-sheet microscopy (MCT-ASLM), a platform combining cm-scale imaging with targeted high-resolution interrogation of intact tissues in human-guided or autonomous modes. Capable of capturing fields of view up to 21 mm at micron-scale resolution, MCT-ASLM can seamlessly transition to a targeted imaging mode with an isotropic resolution that approaches ∼300 nm.

Objective: Chronic pain is prevalent among people living with Parkinson's disease (PD). We analyzed data from 10,631 Australian individuals with PD to assess the prevalence, age and sex differences, severity, anatomical distribution, clinical history, and associated factors.
Methods: We analysed data from 10,631 participants with PD enrolled in the Australian Parkinson's Genetics Study (APGS), an ongoing nationwide cohort.
Developing species-specific diets for Florida pompano () requires understanding both nutritional needs and ingredient responses in practical formulations. Previous research has successfully reduced animal protein inclusion to ~15% by using solvent-extracted soybean meal (SBM) as the primary protein source. Further cost savings may be achieved by incorporating other low-cost alternatives, such as corn fermented protein (CFP), a new sustainable ingredient produced using Fluid Quip Technologies.
