Layered intercalating VO (vanadium pentoxide) is a durable battery-type electrode material exploited in supercapacitors. The advancement of VO nanomaterials synthesized from non-aqueous organic solvents holds significant potential for energy storage applications. Liquid-phase synthesis of orthorhombic VO cathode material corroborated its compatibility with quartet glycols and allowed examination of their explicit roles in faradic charge storage efficacy.

Aortic dissection is a life-threatening disease with high mortality rates. The degradation of the layers of the aorta wall causes tears, which then propagate further due to high-pressure blood penetrating the vessel wall, creating a false lumen. The intimal flap separating the true and false lumen can either bulge inwards constricting the true lumen's blood flow or bulge outwards leading to catastrophic rupture and internal bleeding.

The title mono-periodic coordination polymer, [Sr(NO)(CHNO)] , was synthesized from l-histidine and strontium nitrate. Crystallizing in the monoclinic space group 2, the structure features an Sr cation (site symmetry 2) coordinated by ten oxygen atoms from zwitterionic l-histidine ligands and nitrate anions, forming a distorted deca-hedral geometry with Sr-O bond lengths ranging from 2.645 (4) to 2.

This study reports the development of new Ni(II)-based one-dimensional coordination polymers (CPs), namely, [Ni(9-AnBz)(4,4'-bpy)(MeOH)] (CP 1), [Ni(9-AnBz)(4,4'-bpe)(MeOH)] (CP 2), and [Ni(9-AnBz)(3,3'-bpdb)(HO)]·HO (CP 3) (where 9-AnBz = 9-anthracenyl-4'-benzoate, 4,4'-bpy = 4,4'-bipyridine, 4,4'-bpe = -1,2-bis(4'-pyridyl)ethene, and 3,3'-bpdb = 1,4-bis(3'-pyridyl)-2,3-diaza-1,3-butadiene), as novel electrocatalysts. Their structures have been confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction.

We aimed to assess the feasibility, safety, and efficiency of an over-pressure wash-in method (FGF = 0.5 L and sevoflurane = 8%) of LFA.
