The Internet of Things (IoT) includes vehicles, homes, and integrated sensors and many interconnected physical devices that gather and share data to interact with their environment. Data moving across multiple levels is vulnerable to various security threats, including leaks and unauthorized access. IoT faces significant challenges in balancing strict security with optimal performance metrics such as energy efficiency, throughput, and memory.

An accurate device sizing for percutaneous left atrial appendage closure (LAAC) can be challenging. Intraprocedural automated LAA evaluation by transoesophageal echocardiography (TEE) based on an artificial intelligence-assisted 3D model may facilitate sizing and prediction of C-arm angulation for device implantation in a one-stop-shop procedure. This study aimed to evaluate the feasibility and accuracy of automated echocardiographic LAA sizing based on a patient-specific 3D heart model prototype in real-time.

This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of Kinesio taping (KT) in reducing pain intensity and increasing pressure pain threshold (PPT) in individuals with MPS. A comprehensive search was performed across five electronic databases (PubMed, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, Embase, and SCOPUS) from inception to May 2024.

Blood cancer leukemia develops from problematic hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells that create acute and chronic subgroup variations by their cell origin and disease development. The mechanisms of inflammatory cell death through pyroptosis together with necroptosis and ferroptosis regulate leukemia development and therapeutic approaches.

However, how many of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease(ASCVD) cases that could be prevented lowering remnant cholesterol by these therapies is unknown. The aim of the study was to estimate the potential of APOC3 and ANGPTL3 inhibitors to reduce the ASCVD burden through lowering of remnant cholesterol.
