Clinical verification in homeopathy is a systematic process that aims to validate the therapeutic efficacy of homeopathic medicines. The Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) has been conducting clinical verification studies in lesser known, fragmentarily proved and rare medicines such as through its Clinical Verification Program, thereby expanding the therapeutic utility of these medicines. The primary objective of the study was to assess the change in intensity of presenting symptoms of the participants after administration of the medicine by measuring change in Measure Yourself Medical Outcome Profile-2 (MYMOP-2) profile score.

The emergence of messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA) vaccines as an alternative platform to traditional vaccines has been accompanied by advances in nanobiotechnology, which have improved the stability and delivery of these vaccines through novel nanoparticles (NPs). Specifically, the development of NPs for mRNA delivery has facilitated the loading, protection and release of mRNA in the biological microenvironment, leading to the stimulation of mRNA translation for effective intervention strategies. Intriguingly, two mRNA vaccines, BNT162b2 (Pfizer-BioNTech) and mRNA-1273 (Moderna), have been permitted for emergency usage authorization to prevent COVID-19 infection by USFDA.

Oncogenic pruritus or malignancy associated pruritus is an emerging cause of systemic pruritus in patients with malignancies. It is a debilitating condition and worsens the patient's quality of life, often interfering with their palliative care. Oncogenic pruritus can arise de-novo in such patients due to release of pruritogens and other inflammatory mediators from tumour cells into blood stream, or it may present as a component of paraneoplastic syndrome.
