Soldiers are likely to suffer an injury and require rehabilitation at some stage of their career. Load carriage, whilst a fundamental requirement, is also a source of injury risk. To optimize the rehabilitation of soldiers and prepare them for a full return to operational duty, load carriage requirements need to be considered throughout their rehabilitation pathway.

While not yet extensively studied in genital reconstruction, Kerecis SurgiClose®, a decellularized fish skin xenograft, has shown promise as a skin substitute in other surgical contexts, including burn care and chronic wound management. This study aims to describe the surgical technique and evaluate the short-term clinical outcomes of revision vaginoplasty using decellularized fish skin xenograft (FSXRV) in trans feminine individuals.

Climate change significantly impacts the incidence and abundance of microorganisms, including those essential for environmental cycles and those pathogenic to humans and animals. Shifts in conditions favorable for microbial growth have expanded the geographic range of many pathogens, contributing to the emergence and reemergence of infectious diseases. Waterborne diseases pose severe risks in regions where adverse climate conditions intersect with population vulnerabilities, especially inadequate water, sanitation, and hygiene infrastructure.
