Background: The learning curve for pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) using "single-shot" pulsed-field ablation (PFA) is thought to be short. 3D electro-anatomical mapping (3D-EAM) might provide adjunctive information to shorten the learning curve and improve lesion durability.

Objective: To analyze procedural performance markers over time for PVI using PFA and 3D-EAM.

Multi-Institutional Study of ALK-Positive Large B-Cell Lymphoma: Outcomes in the Era of ALK Inhibitors and Biologically Informed Therapies.

Anaplastic lymphoma kinase-positive large B-cell lymphoma (ALK+ LBCL) is a rare, aggressive subtype of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma with poor outcomes using standard chemotherapy. In this multi-institutional retrospective study, we analyzed 39 cases of ALK+ LBCL identified at six US academic centers from 2002 to 2024, with treatment including conventional cytotoxic regimens in frontline and biologically informed and nonchemotherapy-based strategies in the relapsed setting. Ninety-two percent of patients received frontline anthracycline-based chemotherapy; 43% received intensified regimens, and 15% underwent upfront autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT).

Somatic Symptom and Related Disorders and Mild Traumatic Brain Injury: A Systematic Review.

Objective: A comprehensive systematic review of the relationship between somatic symptom and related disorders (SSRD) and mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI).

Methods: Searches for SSRD, mTBI and related terms were performed and combined from the following databases on March 7th, 2024: Ovid MEDLINE, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, CINAHL, SPORTDiscus, PsycINFO, Embase, and Scopus. Studies were included if they met the following criteria: (a) recruitment of human participants; (b) diagnosis of SSRD or validated measure of somatization (c) reported on patients meeting diagnostic criteria for mTBI; (d) evaluated an association between mTBI and SSRD as a main outcome (e) published in a peer-reviewed journal; (f) published before March 7th, 2024.
