Centrosomes play a fundamental role in nucleating and organizing microtubules in the cell and are vital for faithful chromosome segregation and maintenance of genomic stability. Loss of structural or functional integrity of centrosomes causes genomic instability and is a driver of oncogenesis. Here we identify lysine demethylase 4A (KDM4A), an epigenetic 'eraser' of chromatin methyl marks, as a centrosome-localized protein, visualized at the nanometer-scale resolution.

Use of plant growth-promoting bacteria (PGPB) has emerged as a promising strategy to alleviate the detrimental effects of water stress. This study investigates nine distinct bacterial strains, isolated from a drought-prone region in North-East India, for their plant growth-promoting (PGP) traits and their ability to mitigate osmotic stress.

The XRD spectra for PABA + AgNPs confirm its crystalline structure. The absorption spectra of AgNPs and PABA + AgNPs indicate complete stability of the samples.

Rab2B plays an important role in vesicle trafficking, and more specifically, it is crucial in maintaining the integrity of the Golgi morphology. Our findings demonstrate that increasing concentrations of urea lead to a decrease in both the thermal and chemical stability of Rab2B in a crowder-dependent manner.
