Unlabelled: Human adenoviruses (HAdVs) induce significant reorganization of the nuclear environment, leading to the formation of virus-induced subnuclear structures known as replication compartments (RCs). Within these RCs, viral genome replication, gene expression, and modulation of cellular antiviral responses are tightly coordinated, making them valuable models for studying virus-host interactions. In a recent study, we analyzed the protein composition of HAdV type 5 (HAdV-C5) RCs isolated from infected primary cells at different time points during infection using quantitative proteomics.

A new generation S-protected thiolated alginate was synthesized using a ligand based on l-cysteine protected with N-acetyl-l-cysteine (NACys-Cys) in order to obtain a thiomer with improved mucoadhesive properties. Two types of alginate with different molar mass were evaluated with two ligand concentrations. The successful protection with NACys-Cys was confirmed with FT-IR, NMR and free amino group quantification.

Methods: This guideline was developed de novo using the GRADE approach. A multidisciplinary panel reviewed evidence from a systematic review of randomized trials comparing PCI and CABG, incorporating a comprehensive literature search of patient values and preferences and outcome utilities.
Defective ion channel turnover and clearance of damaged proteins are associated with aging and neurodegeneration. The L-type Ca1.2 voltage-gated calcium channel mediates depolarization-induced calcium signals in heart and brain.
