The Lebanese National Dietary and Lifestyle Guidelines for Pregnancy (DLGP) were developed to foster maternal and child health. The study aims to examine adherence to the DLGP and investigate its association with postpartum weight retention at 6 months (PPWR6). This study is based on the Mother and Infant Nutrition Assessment prospective cohort study conducted among pregnant women in Lebanon (n = 152).

Methods: Data on SMA type 1 children treated with nusinersen between 2017 and 2023 from the Canadian Neuromuscular Disease Registry were extracted. The cohort was divided into two groups based on age at treatment initiation: ≤2 years and >2 years.
Knowledge of the solubility of metal precursors in supercritical (sc) CO is a key factor for determining the best operation conditions for the synthesis of supported metallic nanoparticles. In this paper, new experimental solubility data of Cu(acac), Pd(acac), and Pt(acac) in scCO for temperatures from 313 to 353 K and pressures from 10 to 40 MPa are presented and compared with the literature data and correlated with semi-empirical density-based models (Chrastil, extended Kumar and Johnston, extended Bartle, and the original and modified Méndez-Santiago-Teja). In addition, literature data for the solubility of Cu(tmhd), Pd(tmhd), and Pt(cod)me in scCO were also correlated with the above-mentioned models.

We used flowers to explore how ephemeral anthosphere microbiomes differ among flowering plant species and along an urban gradient. Here, we sequenced 16S rRNA for bacteria, ITS1 for fungi and rbcL for plant DNA from 10 different plant species sampled to characterise anthosphere microbiomes along an urban gradient and identify important network interactions. Bacterial and fungal flower microbiomes significantly differed in diversity across plant species, especially among Asteraceae and Fabaceae.
