Study Objectives: This study compares the demographic characteristics and experiences of three different groups of adolescent and young adults (AYAs) seeking non-sedated intrauterine device (IUD) insertion in the outpatient setting: (1) cisgender individuals, (2) transgender and gender diverse (TGD) individuals receiving gender-affirming testosterone therapy, and (3) TGD individuals not receiving gender-affirming testosterone therapy.
Methods: This retrospective cohort study included AYAs age 13 to 21 years seeking IUD insertion. Data were obtained from the electronic health record via a pre-existing, multi-institutional shared quality improvement (QI) collaborative.
Background: The Pharmacist Workload Prioritisation Work Instruction (PWPWI) was developed to optimise clinical pharmacy services, such as best possible medication history (BPMH) completion. Inpatients are assigned a risk category and associated BPMH completion timeframe.
Aim: To determine the proportion of inpatients who met criteria for urgent, high, moderate, and low risk, and the proportion in each category who were reviewed within 24 hours of admission, to inform PWPWI updates.

Background: Implantable medical devices (IMDs), such as pacemakers, increasingly communicate wirelessly with external devices. To secure this wireless communication channel, a pairing process is needed to bootstrap a secret key between the devices. Previous work has proposed pairing approaches that often adopt a "seamless" design and render the pairing process imperceptible to patients.

Introduction: Cervicofacial lymphadenitis (CFL) in children is commonly caused by non-tuberculous mycobacterium (NTM). NTM presents as lymphadenopathy, which can result in violaceous skin changes, necrosis, and fistulas in later stages. Multiple therapeutic modalities are available, encompassing conservative management, antimicrobial treatment, and surgical procedures of varying complexity, with considerable inter-institutional and intra-institutional practice variation.
