Purpose: To determine the prevalence of complications and reoperations during and after hip arthroscopy.
Methods: A systematic review of multiple medical databases was performed using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines and checklist. All clinical outcome studies that reported the presence or absence of complications and/or reoperations were eligible for inclusion.

Background: The AAOS's Clinical Practice Guideline on "Optimizing Care of Rotator Cuff Problems" suggested a lack of high-quality data. Our purpose is to quantify the quality of randomized controlled trials of rotator cuff disorders via the Jadad score, and to apply the 2010 Consolidated Standards of Reporting Trials CONSORT Criteria to determine factors associated with high Jadad scores and areas for improvement.
Methods: A systematic review using PRISMA guidelines was performed.

Operative treatment of displaced clavicle fractures has demonstrated lower rates of nonunion and symptomatic malunion, improved functional outcomes, and earlier return to activities versus nonoperative treatment. Surgical treatment may offer a reduction in the relative risk of nonunion and symptomatic malunion and an earlier return to work or sport. To present an easy and safe method of acquiring orthogonal views of the clavicle without any manipulation of the patient's upper extremity.

Methods: We performed a systematic review of Level I to IV Evidence using PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines. Clinical outcome studies after open or arthroscopic Bankart repair with a minimum of 5 years' follow-up were analyzed.
Arthroscopic rotator cuff repair is a reliable option for symptomatic patients who have failed conservative treatments. Limited evidence exists regarding early rehabilitation time points (less than 1 year) and the influence of tear size. The authors sought to determine whether a difference exists in pre- and postoperative range of motion among small, medium, and large isolated rotator cuff tears treated arthroscopically.

Background: Various methods of bony stabilization, including modifications of Bristow and Latarjet procedures, are considered gold-standard treatment for recurrent anterior shoulder instability but are associated with unique complications and risk of reoperation. It is most commonly used for sarcomas around the knee, such as the distal femur and proximal tibia, in adolescent and young adult patients and is an option for patients with proximal femoral focal deficiency (congenital short femur). Rotationplasty is an alternative to ablative procedures when functional outcome is a consideration or when resection of involved areas and endoprosthetic reconstruction is not possible.

Purpose: Chondral defects of the knee may lead to pain and disability, often requiring surgical intervention. The purpose of this study was to identify how size, location, and orientation influences subchondral bone contact within oval-shaped chondral defects.
Methods: Full-thickness defects were created in twelve bovine knees.
Cartilage repair and restoration has become an increasingly popular surgical technique to provide symptomatic relief to young patients with focal articular cartilage defects. Given the high level of interest and improvement in surgical techniques to perform cartilage repair or restoration, it is important that patient-reported, surgical and functional outcomes are evaluated both in the short term and long term. Despite the high levels of interest in cartilage repair and restoration techniques, there are few studies that have evaluated the effects of cartilage surgery on biomechanical and neuromuscular function of the joint and the lower extremity.

Early detection of these lesions with a noninvasive modality would be beneficial in delaying or preventing their possible progression to osteoarthritis. We present the case of an 18-year-old woman who was healthy other than a history of multiple arthroscopic right knee surgeries culminating in subtotal lateral meniscectomy in a valgus knee. The patient was referred to our office for evaluation for realignment osteotomy and meniscal transplantation. Her diagnosed case of neuroma of the infrapatellar branch of the saphenous nerve was managed with neurectomy, which produced prompt and complete resolution of pain.

In this article, we report a case of intramuscular synovial cyst of the rotator cuff musculature with associated supraspinatus and infraspinatus tears. Sodium hyaluronate injection into the glenohumeral joint is a treatment option in the management of adhesive capsulitis of the shoulder. We hypothesized that a systematic review would demonstrate that intra-articular sodium hyaluronate injections would result in significant improvements in passive range-of-motion, shoulder and general clinical outcome measures, and pain scales at short- and mid-term follow-up. We performed successful arthroscopic surgical treatment of synovial chondromatosis of the elbow. Arthroscopy examination revealed an acutely evolving synovial chondromatosis.
