Issue Addressed: Social media's potential use has been underestimated in preventive interventions targeting young people despite its importance in psychosocial development. This structured narrative review examined both the positive and negative use of social media by young Australians and its health impacts with a focus on social media-based interventions.
Method: Following a narrative review approach, 34 papers were analysed from four databases (Medline, PsycINFO, CINAHL and Embase) from 2010 to 2025 to provide indications for leveraging the positive aspects.

Introduction: Remote, smartphone-based cognitive assessments such as the Mobile Toolbox (MTB) may increase the accessibility of Alzheimer's disease (AD) clinical trials. We examined the feasibility of the MTB among cognitively unimpaired (CU) older adults and investigated its associations with standardized in-clinic cognitive testing and amyloid and tau positron emission tomography imaging.
Methods: A total of 100 CU older adults self-administered the MTB remotely on their personal devices.

Background: The multifactorial nature of Alzheimer's disease (AD) has become increasingly evident. In addition to well-established features like neurodegeneration, amyloid-beta and tau deposition, or glial changes, other processes-such as metabolic, circulatory, and inflammatory factors-may also play a key role in driving or accelerating AD-related pathology and cognitive decline. These factors represent important targets for slowing disease progression.

We show here that chromosome 17q/TRIM37 gain is a pathognomonic feature of high-risk neuroblastoma and renders patient-derived cell lines hypersensitive to the novel PLK4 inhibitor RP-1664. We demonstrate that centriole amplification at low doses of RP-1664 contributes to this sensitivity in a - and -independent fashion.

This study aimed to investigate the research topics and areas of care deemed most important to caregivers of children living with chronic health conditions in Australia.
Methods: A list of 25 research topics were presented in two rounds of a classic Delphi consensus survey to caregivers of children with chronic health conditions.
