Objective: To synthesize and determine the relative effectiveness of diverse opioid agonist treatment (OAT) medications, including injectables, for opioid use disorder (OUD).

Methods: We searched EMBASE, PubMed, and CENTRAL for Randomised Controlled Trials (RCTs) (CRD42018109469) and previously published systematic reviews of head-to-head trials of OAT medications. The primary outcome was treatment retention, and secondary outcomes included days of opioid use, days of cocaine use, and proportion of participants involved in criminalized activities.

Understanding genetic dependencies in cancer is key to identifying novel actionable drug targets to advance precision medicine. Whole-genome CRISPR-knockout library screening methods have facilitated this goal. Pooled libraries of single guide RNAs (sgRNAs) targeting over 90% of the annotated protein coding genome are used to induce gene knockouts in pre-clinical cancer models.

Telomere length maintenance, critical for cancer progression, can be driven by promoter mutations ( ), which are markers of poor prognosis across multiple cancers. Their tumor-specificity also makes them attractive chemotherapeutic targets. Here, we identified previously uncharacterized pathways regulating activity by inserting a luciferase reporter downstream of in SW1736 anaplastic thyroid cancer cells via CRISPR-Cas9, generating SW1736, and screening a 218-kinase inhibitor library.

Introduction: Social accountability is a key value and aspirational goal of many medical institutions. While much has been studied on social accountability in the context of medical education and institutions, less research has examined how social accountability influences research. In light of this absence, the objective of our scoping review is to research the following questions: (1) What characterises socially accountable research (SAR), and how is it expressed and experienced? (2) How do language, positionality, and worldview influence SAR?, and (3) What structures and considerations are necessary to support successful SAR in local and global contexts?

Methods And Analysis: To answer the above research questions, the Arksey and O'Malley, Levac , Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews and Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) guidelines will be followed.
