Background: Serial perfusion cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) in symptomatic patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) may provide mechanistic insight into dynamic abnormalities of the myocardium.
Objectives: To assess how changes in cardiac reperfusion and remodelling associate with symptom improvement in patients undergoing CABG METHODS: Patients awaiting elective CABG completed serial quality of life questionnaires and detailed CMR at baseline and at 6-12 months post CABG as per protocol. Automated fully quantitative stress and rest myocardial blood flow was calculated, alongside assessment of the visual ischaemic burden.

However, how divalent metals impact its catalytic function, and consequently its editing efficiency in different cells, remains unclear. Here, extensive molecular simulations, Markov State Models, biochemical and NMR experiments, demonstrate that divalent metals - Mg , Ca , and Co - promote activation of the catalytic HNH domain by binding within a dynamically forming divalent metal binding pocket (DBP) at the HNH-RuvC interface.

Host-guest interactions enhance the effective local concentration of the substrate and singlet oxygen generated by the photosensitizing host. This results in up to a 28-fold increase in the rate of conversion depending on the host employed.
